This Interface can be used to decode most Frequency Shift Keyed FM type data transmissions converting the Audio output from a scanner to 9 Pin (RS232) Serial PC Port. The RS232 signal has a ±12V width. Therefore for the op-amp requires a +12V and a -12V supply which is generated by unused data lines, rectified and smoothed.
